One thing I would urge you to consider, however, is that the WiFi relies on a 2.4Ghz connection so if you have a 5Ghz connection, it won’t be compatible.

Coming in at £79.99, the PETKIT Fresh Element Solo Automatic Pet Feeder is far from being the most expensive pet feeder out there. For example, the PETLIBRO feeder costs at least £20 more yet you’re still getting an amazing range of features and an incredibly well made piece of equipment.
Let’s start by looking at the capacity. Now, I won’t beat around the bush, the PETKIT Fresh Element Solo Automatic Pet Feeder isn’t going to be suitable for more than one pet. It has a capacity of 3 litres which equates to around 1.33 kg of dry or freeze dried food. Plus, it only comes with one bowl.
If you’re looking for something a little larger then I’d recommend the HoneyGuaridian 6L automatic pet feeder which I’ve reviewed here.
The PETKIT Fresh Element Solo Automatic Pet Feeder is incredibly stable yet super lightweight at just 2.07 kg which makes it very easy to move around should you need to. What’s more, it doesn’t have a large footprint so you won’t need to worry about it taking up a lot of space and being an eyesore.
And talking of being an eyesore, I was really pleased to see that the PETKIT Fresh Element Solo Automatic Pet Feeder comes in a choice of three colours; grey, green and white. While this might be less important than the functionality of the machine, I still like to have something that fits in with the decor and doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb.
But let’s also consider how well the PETKIT Fresh Element Solo Automatic Pet Feeder caters to the individual needs of different pets. For starters, you should keep in mind that, owing to the portion sizes (between 10 and 50 grams), this device is really only suitable for cats. Dogs would require something larger, especially because of the kibble size of 12 mm.

For example, you can choose to set between 1 and 30 meals per day which can be made up from 1 to 5 portions.
